Level: Intermediate to Advanced
Workshop Length: 1-5 days
Create dynamic quilt designs using curves, line, and movement as the foundation for composition. Ideal for students looking to strengthen both design and technical quilting skills.
Design using compasses, French curves, and/or found objects
Learn composition and color relationships
Practice drafting design

Learn to create expressive quilted landscapes from photographs, personal imagery, or provided designs.
Class Options:

Create a small landscape quilt (approximately 9" x 12")
Focus on composition, color, and foundational techniques
3-5 Days: Intermediate to Advanced
Create a larger piece and explore additional techniques including:
Fusible appliqué
Machine appliqué
Free-motion embroidery
Decorative embellishment
Surface design embellishment

Workshop Lengths: 1 day, 2-3 days, or 4-5 days
Learn to hand-dye fabric using Procion MX dyes in primary colors. Develop a deeper understanding of color theory and color mixing. The yardage of fabric dyed will vary depending on class length. Previous experience is helpful but not required.
NOTE: There is an additional kit fee for the use of dyes and auxilliaries.

Build confidence and skill in the basics of free-motion quilting through guided exercises and design exploration. Suitable for beginners as well as more experienced quilters looking to expand and refine their skills.
